NER (New England Recycling) began life as SDS (Stump Disposal Systems). Stumps, we thought, had the potential to cause site and environmental problems; at the same time, they represented a genuine recycling opportunity. We didn't know the half of it. Due to increasingly stringent state environmental regulations, customers soon came to require specialized debris handling of all kinds. And NER was born.
